Introduction

Hello,

My name is John, I'm a 21 year old student at UCF and on my way to graduating this fall. I have been in Orlando for a little over three years now, but home is not to far away in Tampa. I think the one part of UCF I can say I thoroughly enjoyed was the day i found out about IDS. What a huge weight lifted off my back. I don't know about the rest of you but I had a really hard time trying to place myself in one major. My focus areas are Legal studies, Business, and Health sciences. I am also a working student trying to make my own way, I work downtown at a Supper club called Senso. The hospitality industry is great money to put me through school but it is most definitely not in my five year plans. In five years I hope to still be traveling the world, I am planning on australia right after I graduate and want to bounce around from there. If I have decided to come back to reality in five years i would like to be getting my masters in Nutrition and/or becoming a firefighter paramedic. The results of my personality test were:

ENFJ
I am a moderately expressed extravert
A moderately expressed intuitive personality
A distinctively expressed feeling personality
and a slightly expressed judging personality

The extravert part I definitely agree with, whenever im in a large group of people id rather talk to everyone once than talk to the same couple of people the entire time. I didnt think i would be that strong of a feeler and not so much of a judger. I hold alot of my own strong beliefs but i think one of those beliefs is sympathy for others so maybe thats why i wasnt more of a judger. Over all i think it was pretty close to describing me.

John

P.S. sorry for the late Intro post, I just figured out the whole blog thing.

  1. John,
It is great to meet you! Congratulations on your potential fall graduation, that is AWESOME. I can definitely relate with you concerning the huge weight off of your shoulders when you found the IDS program. I felt exactly the same way. It was simply the perfect fit for my life, and allowed me to finish my BA. In five years you hope to be traveling the world, eh?? I love to travel as well. My husband's Air Force career has provided us with the opportunity to travel to and live in many different places. I have recently returned from a two stint in Seoul, South Korea. It was interesting, to say the least. I wish you all the best with your future adventure plans.

Cheers(oh I also lived in England for 5 years),
    Shelley
